OIPE publishes the code for estimating EP in Italy

OIPE has published the code for producing the energy poverty indicator used since 2017 in government documents (SEN, PNIEC, Energy Transition Plan) and by Istat (2023 Annual Report), based on the methodology outlined in Faiella e Lavecchia (2014).

The indicator relies on microdata from Istat’s Household Budget Survey (public use version – PUF).

The code is available for STATA and R.
